U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces Permit Application for Houston Toad Habitat Conservation

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has received an application from Aqua Water Supply Corporation, Lower Colorado River Authority, Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, Inc., and Austin Energy to obtain an incidental take permit for the endangered Houston toad, allowing for the incidental take of the species during facility maintenance and installation within a 142,526-acre area in Texas.
