Treasury Proposes Changes to Electronic Funds Transfer Mandate for Federal Agencies

The Department of the Treasury is proposing to amend its regulation requiring federal agencies to deliver non-tax payments electronically, unless a waiver is available, in an effort to strengthen the electronic funds transfer (EFT) requirement and address the growing use of electronic payments since 1998.
