National Park Service Announces Availability of Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail Comprehensive Management Plan

The National Park Service has released a draft environmental impact statement outlining four management alternatives for the trail, spanning 15 to 20 years, and analyzing the environmental impacts of those alternatives, following the historic 1965 voting rights march route from Brown Chapel AME Church in Selma, Alabama to the Alabama State Capitol in Montgomery.
