Notice Implementing Third Conservation Helium Sale

The Department of the Interior (DOI) is implementing the terms of the Helium Privatization Act (HPA) of 1996 by offering for sale a portion of the Conservation Helium Reserve, stored underground at the Cliffside Field in Texas. The sale aims to meet the demand of private helium companies with refining capacity along the crude helium pipeline, with a Supplemental Sale to be held in March 2005 if the initial sale is not fully subscribed.
