US National Park Service Introduces Special Regulations for Winter Visitation in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks
The US National Park Service has issued a final rule to manage winter visitation and recreational use in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, as well as the John D. Rockefeller, Jr., Memorial Parkway, for up to three winter seasons, starting from the 2006-2007 winter season, to ensure visitors have access to winter recreational opportunities and to minimize the impact on park resources and values.
