FAA Adopts Airworthiness Directive for DG Flugzeugbau Model DG-500MB Sailplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive requiring DG Flugzeugbau Model DG-500MB sailplanes to replace a faulty engine pylon extension/retraction mechanism with an improved design, and modify the electrical system, to prevent loss of control during flight.
