McDonnell Douglas DC-10 Airplanes Subject to Revised Airworthiness Directive
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a revised airworthiness directive (AD) for certain McDonnell Douglas DC-10 airplanes to address a potential electrical arcing issue that could cause smoke and fire in the cockpit. The revised AD requires inspections and modifications to prevent the wire bundle from coming into contact with the lower edge of the feed-through.
