Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Model A330 and Model A340-200 and -300 Series Airplanes

The FAA has issued an airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus Model A330 and A340-200 and -300 series airplanes, requiring inspections of the spoiler servo control (SSC) function and eventual modification of the SSCs to prevent uncommanded movement of spoilers during flight, which could lead to reduced controllability and increased fuel consumption.
