FAA Updates Pilot Identification Requirements

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has updated its rules to require pilots to carry photo identification and present it when flying, in an effort to enhance pilot certificate security. This change was implemented on October 28, 2002, and allows authorized officials to inspect the identification.
