FAA Proposes Protected Information for Commercial Aviation Safety Team Safety Enhancements

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to designate information from voluntary compliance with safety enhancements recommended by the Commercial Aviation Safety Team (CAST) as protected from public disclosure, in accordance with 14 CFR part 193 and 49 U.S.C. 40123, to encourage sharing between the FAA and operators implementing these enhancements.
