Boeing Model 777 Series Airplanes: Enhanced Safety Standards for Inflatable Lapbelts
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued amended special conditions for Boeing's Model 777 series airplanes, requiring the use of flammable material in inflatable lapbelts to be replaced with a safer alternative. The new standards aim to enhance safety for passengers, following the issuance of the original special conditions in 2001.
