FAA Issues Airworthiness Directive for Raytheon Aircraft Company Model B100 Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive requiring Raytheon Aircraft Company Model B100 airplane owners to drill holes in 'B' nuts, tighten them to specified torque ranges, and secure them with safety wire to prevent loose 'B' nuts from causing engine inlet anti-ice system failure and ice buildup, potentially leading to engine loss of power or loss of engine.
