FRA Delays Locomotive Horn Rule Due to Public Comments

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has delayed the effective date of its Interim Final Rule (IFR) on the use of locomotive horns at highway-rail grade crossings due to the large number of public comments received on the rule, exceeding 1,400 comments, and the need for extensive review and analysis of the comments.
