FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A318, A319, A320, and A321 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing a new airworthiness directive to inspect the spoiler servo control on certain Airbus Model A318, A319, A320, and A321 series airplanes to prevent breakage of the piston rod bearing, which could lead to loss of hydraulic system functionality and reduced airplane controllability.
