Department of State Submits Request for Extension of Diplomatic Exemption Forms

The Department of State has submitted a 30-day notice to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to extend the approval of four forms, DS-98, DS-98 E, DS-99, and DS-99 E, used by eligible foreign diplomatic or consular missions, certain foreign government organizations, and designated international organizations to apply for diplomatic exemption from taxes.
