US Department of Labor Finalizes Determination on Forced Child Labor in China's Firecracker Industry

The US Department of Labor has made a final determination regarding forced child labor in China's firecracker industry, concluding that no products from China should be added to the list of prohibited acquisitions under Executive Order 13126 due to lack of recent credible evidence. This decision was made in consultation with the Departments of Treasury and State, and follows the Department's guidelines for reviewing countries and products for forced child labor.
