NMFS Proposes Issuance of Exempted Fishing Permits (EFPs) for Northeast Multispecies Fishery Management Plan

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Northeast Region, NMFS, has proposed issuing EFPs to three vessels from Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences, allowing them to conduct restricted fishing operations in the Northeastern United States, exempting them from certain regulations governing the Gulf of Maine fisheries.
