NMFS to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Columbia River Hatcheries

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is developing options for funding and operation of Columbia River basin hatcheries, a major Federal action that must comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and will prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to inform the allocation and distribution of Federal funding.
