Endangered Species Act Public Hearings for Proposed Hatchery Listing Policy

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is holding public hearings in California and the Pacific Northwest to gather public comment on a proposed policy for listing hatchery salmon and steelhead under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The hearings will run from late September to mid-October, with an extended public comment period until October 20, 2004.
