The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has announced two actions regarding permits for scientific research on shortnose sturgeon. A permit application from the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources has been received, and a request to modify a permit application from Environmental Research and Consulting, Inc. has also been received.
