NMFS Proposes Exempted Fishing Permit for Northeastern United States Fisheries

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Northeast Region, NMFS, has proposed recommending an Exempted Fishing Permit (EFP) that would allow one vessel to conduct restricted fishing operations in the Northeastern United States, potentially exempting it from the NE multispecies rolling closure areas and days-at-sea effort control program for up to 16 days.
