NMFS Proposes Exempted Fishing Permit for Northeastern U.S. Commercial Fishing Vessels

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Northeast Region, has made a preliminary determination that an Exempted Fishing Permit application warrants further consideration, proposing to recommend an exemption from regulations governing the Northeastern United States' fisheries, allowing commercial vessels to conduct restricted fishing operations.
