California Department of Transportation Seeks Renewal of Marine Mammal Authorization for Bay Bridge Construction

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is requesting public comments on a proposal to renew an authorization allowing the California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS) to incidentally take small numbers of California sea lions, Pacific harbor seals, and gray whales during the construction of the new East Span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.
