NMFS Implements Days-at-Sea Allocation Procedure for Northeast Multispecies Fishery
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is implementing a new days-at-sea (DAS) allocation procedure for the Northeast Multispecies Fishery, which is based on historic participation and caps annual DAS usage for vessels prior to August 1, 2002.
