U.S. Government Imposes New Safeguards Requirements for Nuclear Material and Information

The U.S. government has issued a new order on November 25, 2003, requiring all licensees who manufacture or distribute radioactive materials, as well as those who possess sensitive information, to implement enhanced safeguards to protect this information, effective immediately.
