Nuclear Regulatory Commission Amends Regulations for Power Reactor License Renewal

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is updating its rules to eliminate the need for non-electric utility power reactor licensees to provide financial information in their license renewal applications, and to require electric utility licensees to notify the NRC and submit financial information if they become non-electric utility entities without a license transfer.
