NRC Corrects Final Rule on Radioactive Materials Packaging and Transportation

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has corrected a final rule related to the packaging and transportation of radioactive materials, which was published in the Federal Register on January 26, 2004, to ensure that provisions will expire four years after the rule becomes effective.
