NRC Staff Drafts Assessment of Proposed Amendment to Agreement Between Nuclear Regulatory Commission and State of Utah

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is seeking public comment on a proposed amendment to an agreement with the State of Utah, which would grant Utah additional regulatory authority over certain radioactive materials, and a draft assessment by NRC staff on the adequacy of this authority in protecting public health and safety.
