Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Spent Fuel Storage Cask Regulations

The NRC is proposing to update its regulations to include Amendment No. 4 to Certificate of Compliance 1025, which will modify the NAC-MPC cask system design to incorporate vacuum drying enhancements under a general license, increasing drying time limits and revising fuel assembly content limits.
