Nuclear Regulatory Commission Confirms Effective Date for Fuel Storage Cask Regulations

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed the effective date of October 27, 2004, for a direct final rule that revised the NAC-MPC cask system listing to include Amendment No. 4 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1025, as published in the Federal Register on August 13, 2004.
