NRC Seeks Public Comment on Petition to Enhance Reactor Security Measures

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is seeking public comment on a petition filed by Daniel Hirsch, President of the Committee to Bridge the Gap, to upgrade the 'design basis threat' regulations to better protect domestic reactors from nuclear terrorism, following the 9/11 attacks.
