Amergen Energy Company, LLC Receives Exemption for Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station

Amergen Energy Company, LLC has received an exemption from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, allowing the facility to continue operating beyond its original decommissioning deadline. The exemption is a result of a recent proposal submitted by Amergen Energy Company, LLC to the NRC.
