U.S. Census Bureau Proposes Mandatory Automated Export System Filing for All Shipments Requiring Shipper's Export Declaration Information

The U.S. Census Bureau is proposing to require all shipments that need a Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) to be filed through the Automated Export System (AES) or AESDirect, in an effort to implement provisions in the Foreign Relations Authorization Act.
