U.S. Census Bureau Amends Regulations to Require Kimberley Process Certificate Number for Rough Diamond Exports and Reexports

The U.S. Census Bureau is updating its Foreign Trade Statistics Regulations to require exporters and reexporters of rough diamonds to report their Kimberley Process Certificate numbers through the Automated Export System, in line with the Clean Diamond Trade Act and the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme implemented by Executive Order 13312 in 2003.
