Federal Acquisition Regulation to Eliminate Advance Notification Requirements

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation to comply with Section 842 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2004, as a result of revisions to 10 U.S.C. 2306(e) made by Public Law 108-136.
