Federal Travel Regulation Amends Mileage Reimbursement Rate for Privately Owned Vehicles

The Federal government has updated its mileage reimbursement rate for privately owned vehicles used on official travel, increasing the cost from 40.5 cents to 48.5 cents per mile, in response to recent increases in gas prices.
