US Patent Office to Implement Changes to Patent Fees Based on Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2005
The US Patent and Trademark Office will revise patent fees to align with the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2005, which introduced a search fee and examination fee separate from the filing fee, effective for fiscal years 2005 and 2006.
