Federal Commission to Review All Terrain Vehicles for Safety Risks

The US Commission is seeking public input on potential safety measures to reduce deaths and injuries from all terrain vehicles, following a significant increase in ATV-related incidents over the past few years, with 6,494 reported deaths since 1982, including 2,019 under age 16 and 845 under age 12, and an estimated 129,500 injuries in 2004.
