FCC Reinstates Docket to Address OPEB Issues, Directs Verizon to Submit Direct Case

The Federal Communications Commission's Wireline Competition Bureau has reinstated CC Docket No. 94-157 to address outstanding 'other postretirement employee benefits' (OPEB) related issues, including a request from Verizon Communications to demonstrate that OPEB-related costs incurred prior to January 1, 1993, are eligible for exogenous treatment.
