Sunset of the BOC Separate Affiliate and Related Requirements and 2000 Biennial Regulatory Review Separate Affiliate Requirements

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is seeking public comment on the classification of Bell Operating Companies (BOCs) and incumbent independent local exchange carriers (independent LECs) in the provision of in-region, interstate, and international interexchange telecommunications services, and whether alternative regulatory approaches could be adopted to detect or deter anticompetitive behavior.
