FCC Proposes New Rules to Enable Low-Power Cellular Services in 2.5 GHz Band

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has proposed rules to allow Multipoint Distribution Service (MDS) and Instructional Television Fixed Service (ITFS) operators to provide low-power cellular services in the 2.5 GHz band, enabling high-speed wireless Internet access and mobile radio services.
