FCC Clarifies Captioned Telephone VCO Service Eligibility and Waives TRS Standards

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has released a Declaratory Ruling clarifying that captioned telephone voice carry over (VCO) service is a type of telecommunications relay service (TRS) and waiving certain TRS mandatory standards for eligible providers, effective immediately.
