FDA Approves Ivermectin for Topical Use on Cattle to Combat Parasites

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its animal drug regulations to approve the use of ivermectin on cattle for treating and preventing parasitic infections, following a supplemental new animal drug application (NADA) filed by pharmaceutical company Merial Ltd.
