FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Coccidiosis Prevention in Feedlot Cattle

The FDA is amending its regulations to reflect the approval of a new animal drug application by Elanco Animal Health, which will allow for the use of single-ingredient monensin in Type C medicated feeds to prevent and control coccidiosis in feedlot cattle.
