FDA Clears Eight Drug Products, Including Chlorthalidone Tablets, for Sale

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has concluded that eight drug products, including Chlorthalidone Tablets, were not withdrawn from the market due to safety or efficacy concerns. This decision means the FDA will not initiate procedures to revoke approval of abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) for these products, and will instead continue to approve new applications.
