Secondary Direct Food Additives Permitted in Food for Human Consumption

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of cetylpyridinium chloride as an antimicrobial agent in poultry processing. This action is in response to a petition filed by Safe Foods Corp.
