FDA Amends Final Monograph for Over-the-Counter Antidiarrheal Drugs

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its guidelines for over-the-counter medications used to treat diarrhea, specifically adding relief from travelers' diarrhea as a valid indication for products containing bismuth subsalicylate.
