FDA Corrects Final Rule on Olestra Use in Popcorn Kernels

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is correcting a final rule that allowed the safe use of olestra as a fat substitute in prepackaged popcorn kernels, following a petition from Procter and Gamble Co. and an error in the original publication.
