New Animal Drugs; Ceftiofur

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of an new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Pharmacia & Upjohn Co. The NADA provides for veterinary prescription use of ceftiofur crystalline free acid suspension in swine, by intramuscular injection, for the treatment of swine respiratory disease (SRD).

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as part of its continuing effort to reduce public burden and maximize the utility of government information, invites the general public and other federal agencies the opportunity to comment on a proposed information collection, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This notice invites comment on a proposed information collection project titled Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement.
