FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Pain and Inflammation in Dogs

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its regulations to allow the prescription use of firocoxib chewable tablets in dogs for managing osteoarthritis-related pain and inflammation, following approval of a new application by Merial Ltd.
